Metal Polish (Alchemical)

Though commonly available oils and tinctures are enough to stave off the effects of neglect in metal goods, once the rust has really set in, the wise warrior turns to stronger mixtures to save the equipment that – if properly cared for – may one day save them.

Effect: Used in repair and protection of metal goods.

Required Ingredients: Brimstone, Naptha, Zinken

A useful mixture, this can bring an old weapon back to prime condition. A Corroded weapon can be brought back to normal quality with a dose of this, and the Repair skill. See the Repair skill in Weapon Smith for further details. When the mixture is applied to a non-corroded weapon it will grant 1 resist to the Corrode effect. This defense will last for 24 hours or until it is use. One mixture can cover one weapon of any size and can be done by anyone with a 1-minute count.
